Weather conditions in Kampala constantly change from one area to another, and this is brought about by several factors that are responsible for this great chance of weather conditions. Despite this, Kampala, Uganda’s capital city, is generally warm and muggy all year, with temperatures ranging from 62 degrees Fahrenheit to 82 degrees Fahrenheit, or even higher at times.

Based on the current tourism expenditure and the motivation survey, it was revealed that Kampala, the capital city, is the best capital city to visit because the city has attracted several travelers and visitors because of its warm weather and fantastic outdoor tourist activities. During the early morning in Kampala city, around 5 am, the conditions are cold and temperatures rise 32 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit, between 5 am and 6 am. The temperature conditions also continue to rise from 45 degrees to 65 degrees between 6 am and 8 am, which explains the uniqueness of Uganda’s capital city, Kampala.

Still, in the morning hours, the temperatures rise rapidly within a few hours of the morning, and this is exactly when the city becomes so much more enjoyable for tourists because of its favorable temperatures. Later, the temperatures will drop between 85 and 96 degrees Fahrenheit from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and later the temperatures will continue to drop significantly from 8 p.m. to 12 am in the night hours.

Visitors need to understand that these kinds of temperature variations are experienced during dry conditions, and the best months for you to comfortably visit Kampala are during January, September, October, and December. During the dry season, which happens from June to September or December to February, the chances of the country having rainfall are very minimal and the percentage of rainfall during the dry season is about 40%, which at times makes it very difficult to determine the weather conditions and the temperatures of most places in Africa.
