Continue along the Mbarara-Kasese road until you reach Kyambura Gorge – home to Chimpanzees. You will go for a chimpanzee tracking experience that will introduce you to the life of apes. You will also encounter several bird species, the majority of which are Rift Valley endemics.
Later on, drive to your earlier-booked lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
Meals: Lunch and Dinner
On the 2nd day of your 2 days Uganda chimpanzee tracking and wildlife safari, you will have an amazing game drive. The day starts with a morning breakfast at your lodge. You will check out, pack your belongings, and embark on the morning game drive. This game drive will take you to different parts of the Park. Your eyes will have an opportunity to see several wildlife species including elephants, gazelles, lions, leopards, antelopes, and warthogs, to mention but a few. You will visit the Mweya Peninsular and watch some of the dwellers of that area.
Later on, drive back to Kampala with a lunch stopover in either Mbarara or Masaka town. The last stopover will be at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe near Kampala. Here, you may grab an item from the souvenir shop as a way of giving back to the community. Such items will also remind you of the 2 days of Uganda chimpanzee tracking and wildlife Safari.
