Pick up from air port by our driver guide in the morning and transfer to fort portal next to Kibale national park the primate capital of the world. Fort portal is the tourism city in western region of Uganda. The city is known for its clean streets and amazing conical hills that overlook the mid of the town creating the outstanding magnificent scenery.
Traverse the undulating slopes of Mityana from Kampala via scenic country side on the way you have stop over for lunch and proceed to the Nyakasura area. The Nyakasura area is proud home of Amabere Ga’nyinamwiru caves the magical stalagmites and stalactites where you will enjoy both geographical and cultural history of the place, you will get the touching historical myth behind the cave being told by the local guides then return back in the evening and transfer to Kibale national park at the lodge for dinner and overnight.
In morning after breakfast, undertake the lifetime experience of trekking chimpanzees which will lead you to thick jungle of Kibale forest. The chimpanzee trekking experience tends to take 2- 3 hours including one of the direct encounters with these amazing creatures. During the activity of chimpanzee trekking, you will get a chance to spot other creatures like baboons, bush-babies, colobus monkeys, Mangabeys and a variety of squirrels.
You will transfer to Bigodi community wetland in the afternoon for nature walk. You will explore this ecological diverse habitat Set out for a walk in the impress of Bigodi swamp sanctuary to enjoy birding and unveil the exceptional wetland vegetation and animals that dwell in this sanctuary and after this experience you will get back to the lodge for relaxation, have dinner and overnight.
You will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast at the lodge and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park one of the premier and most famous park in Uganda located in Kasese after the Rwenzori mountains. Admire the panoramic views of the Rwenzori along the way and arrive at Lake George in mid-morning to begin your community experience mixed up with communities along the landing site and let you know how the natives behave, interact and get introduced to their daily activities.
After this experience straight heading to your lodge for relaxation dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you go for early game drive which will be in the morning. Driving in the camp at Mweya peninsular which will be attractively positioned, separating Lake George from lake Edward by Kazinga channel stretching to Kasenyi plains. The renown mating ground offers you a lifetime experience of encounter a variety of wild game families at a glance. These include; elephants, buffalos, kobs, and waterbucks along with predators like lions, leopards and jackals. The game drive will take 3- 4 hours before you retreat back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will proceed to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise which will boasts to be a home to one of the largest concentrations of hippopotamus, as well as herds of elephants and buffalos. Other wildlife species frequent the channel as they come to drink water from the channel. Kazinga channel also attracts a tremendous variety of bird species including the African Eagle, pied kingfisher and open-billed stork and among others. This is what makes Queen Elizabeth national park a perfect birding destination for birders.
In the later hours, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and spend the night over.
You will wake up early in the morning, take breakfast and embark on the trip to lake Bunyonyi in south western Uganda. You undertake a game drive and route in Ishasha sector in search of tree climbing lions together with other game wildlife that dwell in this woodland part of the park. The tree-climbing lions in queen Elizabeth national park prefer to lie flat in fig tree branches in the mid-morning sun while waiting for their prey.
After a game drive experience at Ishasha sector you will proceed to Bunyonyi the scenic lake. This is Uganda's deepest lake and Africa's second deepest. Driving through the endless rolling hills of Kigezi. You will reach in the evening at the lodge relax, have dinner and overnight
You will wake up in the morning to admire the beautiful sun rising over this scenic lake and enjoying the viewing it just from the balcony then after you go for breakfast at the hotel. Lake Bunyonyi is famous for its unique terraces overlooking one of the deepest lakes in east Africa and countless islands dotted all over the lake.
Take a mid-morning boat cruise to explore the 29 islands all around the Lake Bunyonyi and visit the local Batwa communities who have lived in this area for centuries.
Return from this experience early enough and transfer to Rwanda's Volcanoes national park through country cross the Virunga chain of mountains, arrive in the evening at the hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight
You will wake up in the morning have breakfast and head to the jungle of Volcanoes national park to explore golden monkeys in their natural habitat. Trekking these unique created creatures is an epic encounter that allows you to see, study and photograph as they mix up freely within their distinctive troops. During the activity in volcanoes national park, you will be able to spot other primates like red and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, baboons and among others.
Golden monkeys are also considered as endangered and Volcanoes national park have habituated golden monkey troops that are available for visiting by tourists in the park. After this activity, you will prepare to travel to the western side of Gisenyi to lake kivu near Congo boarder for overnight stay and relaxation along the lake.
Transfer to Bukavu area in Democratic Republic of Congo after your breakfast. Cross to Congo via Changungu border with undulating views of Gisenyi based lake kivu and the scenic Congo Nile trail occupying your journey to the Kahuzi-Biega national park. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing at the lodge awaiting gorilla trekking tour in Kahuzi-Biega national park in the following morning.
In the morning, you will wake up and take breakfast the after you head for a memorable adventure of trekking, the lowland gorillas differ from mountain gorillas. The lowland gorillas are bigger in size, usually takes 1-4 hours tracking the lowland gorillas. The lowland gorillas stay in bigger families compared to mountain gorillas. You will not regret the safari effort once you meet the gorillas.
After tracking, you will go for nature walk in the Kahuzi-Biega Park and visit Tshibati waterfalls, visit Bukavu town, Mbayo tea plantations, the research Centre and the surrounding traditional homes. You will then return back at the hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, check out the the lodge, and drive to Bujumbura city reach there in the evening to relax, dinner and overnight at your hotel in Bujumbura. The journey is a rewarding experience that comes with scenic views of the landscape, green lush vegetation and undulating hills.
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will visit source of the Nile. Drive to Rutana for the admirable karera waterfalls. Later you will visit the source of river Nile at Rutovu, a not-so-small forest with a river stream that several researchers including BBC, have corroborated to be the source of river Nile, the longest river in the world.
After the breakfast in the morning, you will drive to Gishora drum sanctuary and visit the Burundi National Museum, visit Mushasha Catholic Village, ancient administrative offices during colonial time, before returning to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
You will wake up in the morning, take breakfast and drive to Kigali city to your hotel rest have dinner and overnight.
