Get to explore diversity and abundance of wildlife in Masai Mara and trek the bwindi gorillas in your 6 days masai Mara and Uganda gorilla safari. The 6 days Masai Mara and Uganda gorilla safari starts in Nairobi Kenya and later to Masai Mara national reserve Kenya, later departing Masai Mara to bwindi impenetrable national park in Uganda for gorilla trekking. This trip gives a whole new experience of East Africa prime tour highlight, gorillas and wildlife.
On your day 1, you will be picked from any place of your choice in Nairobi and be transferred to Masai Mara national park, the drive to Masai Mara takes approximately 6 hours to complete, a drive that will see to mara with a stop over at Narok for lunch , later proceed and the Masai Mara the place of abundant wildlife. Arrive and check in at your lodge, later head for an evening game drive in the park in search for wildlife. Some of the wildlife you will come across include wildebeest, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, zebras, Thomson gazelles, buffaloes, elands, warthog’s hyenas. Later after the evening head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Game drive in masai mara : In the morning , have you breakfast and head for wildlife viewing in Masai Mara national reserve, you will top on your wildlife count from the previous evening sightings , some of the additions will include hippos, crocs, ostriches , leopards, rhinos, and several other birds species. Later head back to the lodge for lunch and brief relaxation.
Afternoon Game drive: in the after the relaxation you will head back for yet another game drive to maximise your wildlife count. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Early in the morning, have your early breakfast and embark on a drive to Nairobi, upon arrival , you will check at the airport for your connecting Flight to Entebbe airport Uganda, later be picked up from the airport and be transferred to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
On the fourth day, you will be picked from your hotel and you will later embark on a drive to Bwindi through the Kampala-Masaka highway, you will have stop over at the equator for a short break and as well view the statue. Later proceed west words and have your next stop in Mbarara town for lunch. Depart Mabarara southwards to Kigezi country side upon arrival on an 8 hour journey, you check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
On your fifth day of 6 days Masai Mara and Bwindi gorilla safari, you will be picked in the morning after breakfast, be dropped at the park headquarters for briefing. Later after briefing, you will head into the jungles in search for the mountain gorillas. Note that since gorillas live in families, you will track from the family you have been assigned to track from. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will spend with them a maximum of 1 hour interacting and knowing much about their behaviour, whilst taking as many photos as you can. Later depart the jungles and reunite with your guide who will drive you back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon you can opt to do a community tour visiting the local and find out how they go about their lives.
Dinner and overnight your lodge.
On your last, wake up to the environment of bwindi, have your breakfast and after , you will embark on your transfer back to Kampala and to Entebbe in time for flght back home.
